"Only the present moment contains life" — Thich Nhat Hanh
In the rush of work, deadlines, and a never-ending to-do list, it's easy to lose touch with ourselves. We keep pushing ourselves until our inner world grows quietly exhausted.
We often believe that peace will arrive once the busyness comes to an end. Yet in truth, we can learn to be with busyness while our hearts remain calm and at ease.
In this Day of Mindfulness, the Wake Up Sangha - a community of young people practicing mindfulness in the Plum Village tradition - warmly invites you to come and learn together the art of stopping and creating a space of stability within amid the rush of life. Together, we will discover that peace does not need to wait for everything to be perfect. It can be found in every single breath.
